| 2010 Courses In 2010 we will be running two types of course, listed below. Enrollment To enrol on either course (a) register online and then (b) send in an application form with payment. Registering first means we will reserve a place for you for a few days while your form is in the post. If it doesn't arrive within 10 working days, we will offer the place to someone else. We have to do this because our courses are in high demand, and we want to make enrollment as fair as possible. A Taste of BeekeepingThe 'Taste of Beekeeping' is a short introduction to the principles of beekeeping in an urban environment. The session course covers the essential aspects of what bees are, how we keep them and how to start beekeeping, together with an inspection of bees in the Roots & Shoots apiary, weather permitting.Dates: Sun 28th Feb, Wed 23rd June, Sun 26th September Application Forms & further information February - fully booked June - fully booked September Registration February - fully booked June - fully booked September An Introduction to BeekeepingThis course is based on the British Beekeepers Association's 'Introduction to Beekeeping' syllabus, but with a focus on keeping bees in an urban environment.
