| MEETINGS |
| LBKA Association Meetings The London Beekeepers Association has an active programme of lectures and other meetings throughout the year, usually held at our base and apiary at Roots and Shoots, Walnut Tree Walk, Kennington Road, Lambeth SE11. Our next 'Monthly Meeting' will be on Sunday June 13th at 11.00am at Walworth Garden Farm. All Welcome. This month we have a regular meeting at Walworth Garden Farm followed by a stall at Kennington Village Fete. Kennington Village Fete is an entertaining day out for everyone, minutes away from Roots and Shoots (Note our regular monthly meeting is still at Walworth Garden Farm). London Beekeepers will be running a stall themed on bees and honey - we'll have the observation hive there, will be selling honey and other hive products and can tell visitors about the plight of the honeybee. The rest of the fete includes tombola, plants, book stalls, loads of fantastic food and drink, and Punch and Judy for the children. Please come along and help the association show a good presence. It's a great opportunity to talk about bees, show off the observation hive, sell honey and so on. Walworth Garden farm is at 206 Manor Place, London SE17 3BN. (map) In the winter months, we have an active programme of talks and other indoor activities. Members are invited to make suggestions for topics, speakers, themes, dates or locations by emailing us at meetings@lbka.org.uk We also have close links with our neighbouring Associations in the counties around London whose members are always welcome at our events. Forthcoming events are listed in the Calendar, which is available from the link to the right of this page.
