MEMBERSHIP

The London Beekeers Association has two categories of membership:

1. Full Membership - for active beekeepers with hives - includes:

  • BBKA Capitation Fee which provides:
    • Public Liability Insurance (cover up to £5m)
    • Product Liability Insurance (cover up to £2m)
    • BBKA News
  • Bee Disease Insurance
  • BeeCraft subscription (Association discount, optional)
  • Membership of LBKA

The BBKA is the British Beekeepers' Association. The LBKA is an Area Association member, and LBKA Full Members are registered as individual Area Members of BBKA, which has certain membership advantages.

2. Associate Membership is available to people who either don't keep bees or are already full members of other Beekeeping Associations and so already have all the insurance they need.

Annual LBKA Membership runs from 1st October to 30th September.

New and Renewing Members If you wish to join or continue being a member of the LBKA, please print out and complete a Membership Application form. We've got the form in Word and PDF formats.

All forms should be returned to the Treasurer, whose details are on the forms. If you have any difficulty downloading or filling out the forms, please let the webmaster know (simon.wilks@lbka.org.uk)
