Sustainable Beekeeping

As of April 2026, this page and the following documents are under review: the 'Report on the London Bee Situation', the 'Position on Sustainable Beekeeping in London', and the 'Guidelines to Responsible Urban Beekeeping'. We welcome any comments, which may be sent to services@lbka.gov.uk.

Through extensive consultation with experts and LBKA members, we have put together a paper that suggests how we might move towards more sustainable beekeeping in London.

It is a working document (v1.0, 17/10/23) that we will update when new information comes to light.
